Before booking your holiday at AlfaBaita, read this page for some useful information: from check-in and check-out times to the travel kit and the various possibilities to book our holiday homes based on the seasons of the year.
Check-in e check-out
- Check-in: between 16:30 and 21:00. If you expect to be late or you have an unexpected holdup, let us know at +39 339 8068892 or at +39 389 6482821.
- Check out: before 11.00. If you want to stay in the Valle a bit longer Varaita and depart in the evening, no problem: you can leave your bags in custody at AlfaBaita.
Rates
- Services included: bedlinen and towels (weekly changed), fridge with freezer, dishwasher, hairdryer, induction cooker, microwave oven, satellite tv, DVD player, small DVD collection and library, free parking space at 50 meters from AlfaBaita, final cleaning of the holiday houses (any cleaning during your stay is the task of the guests; every house contains all the equipment). Washing machine, vacuum cleaner and ash cleaner are available in the shared washing room.
- Available without cost on request: 4 pairs of snowshoes, covered bike shed, minimal bike repair set and 6 e-bike loading stations.
- Additional services: extra bed linen (on top of those already included in the rates of the holiday homes) €10/person; rent mountainbikes, e-bikes, road bikes or tourist bikes; rent Sala Yanez for events, courses or cultural activities.
- Prices: the costs indicated for our holiday homes (casa Cormac, casa Ferdinand and casa Agota) are per night or per week up to 2 persons.
- Daily supplements: for the adults and children (6-15 years old) that will be coming besides those 2 persons already included. We also ask for an extra cleaning fee if you bring along your four-legged friend.
- Free: children up to 5 years old.
Seasons and minimal stay
- From 1 July to 31 August and from 23 December to 6 January: you can book one of our holiday homes online for a minimum stay of 7 days (check-in and check-out on Saturdays). We will try our best to satisfy your wishes according to availability.
- For the rest of the year: you can book one of our holiday homes online for a minimum stay of 2 days. For special requests, write us at info@alfabaita.com, or contact us at 0039 339 8068892 or at 0039 389 6482821. We will try our best to satisfy your wishes according to availability.
AlfaBaita’s travel kit
If you decide to come on holiday at AlfaBaita, don’t forget to keep the confirmation e-mail of your booking: you will need it for the check-in.
If you want to explore the valley and surroundings once you are at AlfaBaita, don’t forget to put pack:
- walking shoes;
- suitable socks (always better to bring an extra pair);
- blister plaster or Compeed (with all the walking in the Valle Varaita you might get a blister);
- rucksack (essential);
- flask;
- jacket;
- K-way or raincoat;
- a fleece or sweater because the evenings here are always a bit chilly even in August;
- sun cream, sunglasses and a hat if you come in the middle of the Summer.
