Before booking your holiday at AlfaBaita, read this page carefully so that you know our general conditions for booking and cancellation. We don’t like legal talk, but here we need to be a bit more formal than we normally are: based on the current standards in Italy, once confirmed the booking has the value of a binding contract for those who sign it and for those mentioned in it (including minors).
Here are the details:
Booking
You can book one of our holiday homes directly online. Once your payment is successful and the transaction has been completed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of the booking in which all the details of your stay will be repeated. If you don’t receive the confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, write us at info@alfabaita.com.
To agree on alternative payment methods or different solutions to stay from the ones proposed in the chosen period, you can contact us at the same e-mail address: info@alfabaita.com.
Payment
The whole amount needs to be paid (via PayPal or creditcard) at the moment of booking online or via bank transfer (if agreed with us).
When you arrive we will give you the paper receipt of the payment for your stay at AlfaBaita.
Tourist tax
Does not apply to this zone of Piemonte so you don’t need to pay that, nor before nor after your arrival.
Cancellation
If you booked one of our holiday homes online but wish to cancel, you can easily perform the cancellation procedure: you only need to find your confirmation e-mail and click on the link ‘Cancel your booking’.
If you are entitled to a refund of a holiday voucher within the terms of these conditions, we will contact you within 48 hours. If you don’t hear anything from us in that time, write to us on info@alfabaita.com. We wish to remind you that in case of a refund the procedure will take place via bank transfer within 30 days of the cancellation.
If you booked one of our holiday homes directly via us, we ask you to do the same: write to us at info@alfabaita.com in time to tell us about your decision.
Conditions for cancellation and refund of bookings up to 3 nights
- Up to 30 days before the planned arrival date you can cancel your booking for free, except for the transfer costs of any refund, which is €2.
- Between 30 and 20 days before the planned arrival date you can cancel your booking and get 70% of the payment back, except for the transfer costs of any refund, which is €2. Alternatively you can receive a holiday voucher that can be used within the next 12 months from the cancellation date.
- Between 20 and 10 days before the planned arrival date you can cancel your booking and get 50% of the payment back, except for the transfer costs of any refund, which is €2. Alternatively you can receive a holiday voucher that can be used within the next 12 months from the cancellation date.
- Within 10 days before the planned arrival date or in case of no-show there will be no refund.
- In case of proven restrictions to the circulation of people enforced by national governments for the containment of the Covid19 emergency, you can change the dates of the booking (without any costs, depending on availability, rates and applicable conditions) or request a holiday voucher for the complete amount you paid, to be used within 12 months after the date the voucher was given. If at the chosen date AlfaBaita should be closed or unable to receive you due to official dispositions, you can cancel your booking for free and you will receive a complete refund.
Conditions for cancellation and refund of bookings for more than 3 nights
- Up to 20 days before the planned arrival date you can cancel your booking for free, except for the transfer costs of any refund, which is €2.
- Between 19 and 7 days before the planned arrival date you can cancel your booking and get 50% of the payment back, except for the transfer costs of any refund, which is €2.
- Within 7 days before the planned arrival date or in case of no-show there will be no refund.
- In case of proven restrictions to the circulation of people enforced by national governments for the containment of the Covid19 emergency, you can change the dates of the booking (without any costs, depending on availability, rates and applicable conditions) or request a holiday voucher for the complete amount you paid, to be used within 12 months after the date the voucher was given. If at the chosen date AlfaBaita should be closed or unable to receive you due to official dispositions, you can cancel your booking for free and will receive a complete refund.
